Job Description
GNR has been retained to identify a “hands-on” FINANCE DIRECTOR for a growing defense MANUFACTURING organization in the DALLAS, TX area.
Reporting to the site General Manager, you will play a significant role in the company’s continued growth. You’ll provide oversight & strategies for driving financial performance for the organization’s largest division.

We’re seeking a proven financial leader within the DEFENSE sector who ensures fiscal integrity, builds strong team, and drives continuous improvement for long-term success.
Experience & Responsibilities to include;
- DEFENSE / Gov’t experience is REQUIRED - ensuring compliance to gov’t regulations & contracts – FAR / DFARs, ITAR, DCAA / DCMA, contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M).
- Sound financial & business acumen - financial planning, strategy, budgeting, forecasting, cash mgmt., compliance, risk mgmt, and COST structures (direct / indirect rates, overhead, labor).
- Manage all financial/accounting activities with a small team (approx. 7-10), and work closely with Executives & Leaders to meet Corporate objectives.
- Ensure full financial compliance across programs, while also reviewing new proposals (pricing, obligations, rates, long-term obligations).
- Over 10 years experience - BS/MS - US Citizenship
