GNR has been exclusively retained to identify a CORPORATE DIRECTOR of STRATEGIC SOURCING for a $1B publicly owned & rapidly growing organization that manufactures electronics for Commercial & Defense customers.

We’re looking for a leader who has in-depth experience with the sourcing / procurement / supply chain requirements for Defense manufacturing!

In this “highly visible” position, you will report to the Global VP Operations and heavily engage with 9 sites for 2 divisions, manage $500M in spend, transform the organization’s sourcing / procurement strategies, operating models and increase their buying power.

You will lead and mentor a Global team, develop & build supplier relationships, influence & execute change, and forecast & identify sourcing contingency plans to manage growth.

REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

Strategic leadership with a background in sourcing products for a “technology” related manufacturing / components environment (NOT Services)
Background in DEFENSE procurement - sourcing requirements + FAR / DFAR / Government standards

Able to communicate & collaborate with Executive team & all departments and levels
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience
US Citizenship required

OFFERING: Attractive base salary + bonus + great benefits

Work from home - REMOTE with travel ~ 10-20% to sites
