DIRECTOR of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT for MUNITIONS & MISSILE DEFENSE
Job Description
Due to a pending retirement, GNR has been retained to identify an “On-site & hands-on” DIRECTOR of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT for a growing International DEFENSE organization in the DALLAS, TX area.
You’ll join a dynamic team and play a significant role in the ongoing GROWTH of this well-established $120m Division, reporting to the site GM. The company holds a strong market position and continues to expand its portfolio with an $800m backlog.
We’re looking for an experienced BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT individual to identify, pursue & capture large multi-million DEFENSE programs (for INTERNATIONAL & DOMESTIC programs) within the ARMY, NAVY, DoD & International NATO-friendly allies.
- You will take on pursuits Full Life-Cycle: manage existing customer relationships, identify & capture new business, contract negotiations & competitive proposals (RFP’s & RFQ’s)
- Collaborate with internal resources to ensure winning bids, program mgmt. & execution, and deliverables. finance, and marketing.
EXPERIENCE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 8+ years of experience with DEFENSE / MILITARY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT + FMS, ITAR, EAR, FAR/DFAR REQUIRED
- Any exposure to following areas is a PLUS: Munitions / Ordnance / Missile / Armament / Weapons
- 50% travel domestic & international, conferences & trade shows, customers & HQ
- Proven experience pursuing & capture new business & conduct market analysis
- Contracts & Proposals, RFP / RFQ’s, and support Program Mgmt team.
- BS Degree with a minimum of 8+ years of experience
- US Citizenship
