DIRECTOR of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT for US & INTERNATIONAL DEFENSE products
Job Description
Due to a pending retirement, GNR has been retained to identify a “hands-on” INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT for a growing International DEFENSE organization in the DALLAS, TX area.
Play a significant role in the ongoing GROWTH of a well-established $120m Division, reporting to the site GM. The company holds a strong market position and continues to expand its portfolio with an $800m backlog.
We’re looking for an experienced INTERNATIONAL & DOMESTIC BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT individual to identify, pursue & capture large multi-million DEFENSE programs – domestically (ARMY, NAVY, DoD) & Int’l (NATO-friendly allies)
- You will take on pursuits Full Life-Cycle: manage existing customer relationships, identify & capture new business, contract negotiations & competitive proposals (RFP / RFQ)
- Collaborating with internal resources to ensure winning bids, program mgmt. & execution, and deliverables. finance, and marketing.
EXPERIENCE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 8+ years of experience with INTERNATIONAL & DOMESTIC DEFENSE / MILITARY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT + FMS, ITAR, EAR, FAR/DFAR REQUIRED
- 50% travel domestic & international, conferences & trade shows, customers & HQ
- Proven experience pursuing & capture new business & conduct market analysis
- Contracts & Proposals, RFP / RFQ’s, and support Program Mgmt team.
- BS Degree with a minimum of 8+ years of experience
- US Citizenship
