Job Description

Due to significant growth, GNR is in search of a “hands-on” DIRECTOR of QUALITY & SAFETY experienced with Part 145 requirements for a very reputable MRO & Completions Center located in the Indianapolis region. 

This role will offer HIGH visibility, and you will own the entire QUALITY program and establish the foundation for their expansion.  They have a solid backlog of orders so now they are making a significant investment to nearly double in size and expand their Part 145 capabilities.

 

Reporting directly to the COO, you will lead a team of 9 and oversee ALL QUALITY & SAFETY initiatives for the site; Assurance & Control, EH&S, FAA airworthiness & regulations, Engineering, Audits, Continuous Improvements and Suppliers etc.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • >10 years’ Aircraft Quality experience in either; MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) and/or Aircraft Completions environment
  • Maintain & enhance QMS policies & procedures
  • Proven leadership and mentor, grow & build a world-class quality team
  • Effective communication skills: extensive interacting with FAA, Executive team & VVIP customers
  • 14 CFR Part 145 & AS9100
  • Bachelor’s degree + A&P License
