OPERATIONS MANAGER for Aviation Machining
Job Description
Our client is a well-established, CNC machining / manufacturing in the NorthWest Los Angeles region. They are experiencing tremendous growth and need a new OPERATIONS MANAGER with strong leadership for this rapidly growing $40M division.
This is a “highly visible” & “hands-on” role with career progression to GM level! They have a great backlog of business for Aviation & Defense customers needing complex, precision machined parts for hydraulics, landing gear, shocks etc...
You will lead and improve all site operational needs: update processes & procedures, evaluate and implement any production productivity req's, continuous improvement, inventory management, schedules & delivery, KPI’s etc..
Managing a team of 5-7 direct & 45+ indirect you will engage & mentor teams, reporting to the current GM you will collaborate with other Executive leaders, inspire change and continued growth.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Hands-on & strong leadership experience within an Aerospace, Aviation, Defense CNC Machining / Mechanical Manufacturing environment
- Excellent communications skills & the ability to influence change to make an impact on the business
- US citizenship status
