Job Description

GNR has been retained to identify an experienced PROCESS ENGINEER for CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) for this 50+ year old advanced materials global organization.

Reporting to the CVD Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with a small team to actively develop and optimize process improvements with equipment selections and/or process modifications to enhance product quality, yield improvements, cost reductions, along with upgrading technologies.

 

  • Own and resolve escalated manufacturing process issues by applying process modeling & mapping, statistical data analysis tools and process improvement methodologies.
  • Conduct pilot scale trials to validate process improvements & new technologies.
  • Lead full-scale implementation to manufacturing needs.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPERIENCES SHOULD INCLUDE:

  • 7+ years of experience with CVD / chemical vapor deposition, material properties, trace impurity mitigation/prevention and/or technical process modeling.
  • Able to work with highly complex processes, creating ultra-high purity materials
  • Analytical & technical experience working through technical / process problems, collect & analyze process data to identify trends, make data-driven decisions while continuously improving and optimizing processes
  • BS / MS Degree in Process Engineering, Material Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Analytics, Physics
  • US Citizen / Perm Resident
